A warm welcome and a special thank you to all the participants of this 5th Edition of DeltaCure, for what promises to be another stimulating and impactful Meeting.

Recognized as the leading international forum fully dedicated to Hepatitis Delta Virus, DeltaCure continues to bring together leading experts, clinicians, and researchers from around the world. Since its inception, this meeting has played a pivotal role in advancing our collective understanding of this particularly severe and challenging form of viral hepatitis.

The 2026 scientific program will again offer a comprehensive exploration of HDV epidemiology, virology, immunology, clinical progression, and the effect of therapy on long-term complications.

For the first time, all abstracts accepted for the DeltaCure 2026 meeting will be published in a dedicated supplement of the indexed journal BMJ Open Gastroenterology, further enhancing the visibility and impact of the scientific contributions presented.

We remain dedicated to supporting the next generation of HBV/HDV researchers: a significant portion of the program will be reserved for oral abstract presentations by early-career investigators, fostering their integration into the international research community.
